Speed Of Trust

Trust is the glue of life. It is the glue that holds departments, team and relationships together. A lack of trust is the very definition of bad relationship. When trust is high, relationship and communication are easy and effortless.

Mistakes are forgiven. When trust is low, relationships are difficult and communication often fails. Trust in a relationship is not a constant. It must be maintained and actively nurtured by making regular deposits in the Emotional Bank Accounts of others. The Emotional Bank Accounts is like a financial bank account into which you make emotional deposits and withdrawals.

Deposits are based on principles central to human relationships. Applying these principles and making deposits requires three things. They require you to practice initiative, sacrifice and humility.
